Dental emergencies happen when you least expect it and can leave you in a lot of pain and discomfort. While minor emergencies can be managed by our team at the practice, more serious emergencies will require you to go to hospital.
Our priority is to get you out of pain, which is why we reserve availability for emergencies every day. If we’re not able to see you right away, we’ll check our sister practices in Kelmscott and Mount Lawley for availability.

We’re used to treating kids as many of our staff have children of their own. This allows us to quickly build rapport and put young patients at ease.
EVP Dental is not a bulk-billing dentist, however we participate in various Government-funded oral health schemes that may allow you to access subsidised dental services, such as the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). We also accept Department of Veteran’s Affairs Gold cards and White cards that may cover treatments including dental check-ups, cleans, fillings, denture relines and repairs and treatment for injuries or conditions.
X-rays provide your dentist with a bigger picture of your oral health.
They help show the condition of your teeth, its roots, your jaw and facial structure. X-rays reveal any hidden decay under the gumline and are essential in the planning and preparation for restorative dental care.
At EVP Dental, our digital radiographs and bitewing x-rays use very low doses of radiation. If you have concerns about x-ray exposure, please talk to your dentist about why an x-ray might be recommended and what alternative options may exist.
EVP Dental offer a range of sedation options to help you get the dental care you need. Most dental treatments are provided under a local anaesthetic. For anxious patients or for more complex treatments, EVP Dental can provide happy gas, IV sedation administered by an anaesthetist or be put to sleep using general anaesthetic in day surgery.
