We’re the largest dental team in the local area and have over 100 years’ combined experience between us.
Prior to joining the practice, he spent five years in a general practice in England before eventually relocating to Australia. He has extensive experience in many areas of dentistry, such as general, advanced restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr Norcross also has a keen interest in the safe removal of mercury amalgam fillings.
Dr Norcross graduated from Leeds University (England) in 2006, being awarded with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He remains up-to-date with the latest dental techniques, technologies and developments through post graduate education. In 2009, he completed an Advanced Restorative Course at the North of England Dental Academy. Following this, he completed a year-long modular course in Implant Dentistry accredited by the British Academy of Dental Implantology in 2010. More recently in 2013, Dr Norcross completed his Master Clinician in Implant Dentistry Programme gaining certificates from the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) and UCLA.
Dr Norcross is a lecturer and mentor for MIS Implants and the Dental Implantology Academy (DIA). He delivers several dental implant training courses and live surgery demonstrations every year for new and emerging dentists, and places over 300 dental implants each year. He has spent time at the Malo Clinic in Melbourne learning about the advances in full arch rehabilitation using the All-on-4® technique, and is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.
Extensive training, skills and passion for implant dentistry, coupled with positive patient outcomes has earned Dr Norcross a favourable reputation as one of Perth’s best dentists placing implants.
Priding himself on his gentle approach and excellent patient manner, Dr Norcross is skilled in dealing with even the most nervous dental patients. He wants to make coming to the dentist the most comfortable experience it can be, for every patient he sees. Dr Norcross works closely with Dr Christine Troy offering all forms of dentistry under intravenous sedation. This includes simple and complex dental care for very nervous patients and the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth.
Dr. Norcross also practices at our sister clinics Kelmscott Dental and Mount Lawley Dental. Dr. Norcross also provides consultations for wisdom teeth removal and dental implants out of our dedicated implant clinic, Perth Dental Implant Centre.
Dr Oliver Ward has been an Associate Dentist at EVP Dental since 2010. In 2005, Dr Ward graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Newcastle, followed by a Masters Degree in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry from Kings College in London.
Most recently, Dr Ward completed a 3-year Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics (teeth straightening) and is a Fellow at the International College Continuing Dental Education (FICCDE) reflecting his commitment to ongoing professional development.
Dr Ward thoroughly enjoys performing all aspects of general dentistry to a high standard, especially root canal treatment and restorative care using fillings and crowns.
He has a passion for teaching and helping young dentists develop in their careers and enjoys his working towards the best long-term treatment goals for his patients.
Oliver is a devoted husband and father to two young kids and outside of work, he enjoys reading, sports and following world events.
Dr Anmol Saxena graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from UWA in 2011 and has been working in private practice ever since.
Dr Saxena has completed several postgraduate training programmes in restorative dentistry, wisdom teeth removal surgery, dental implant treatment and endodontics (root canal therapy).
Dr Saxena has completed dental implant surgery training with MIS Implants and Nobel Biocare, and spent time training under renowned Specialist Prosthodontists, Dr Glen Liddelow and Dr Graham Carmichael. He is currently enrolled in a year-long Implant Master Clinician programme with the Global Institute of Dental Education (gIDE institute) which he is due to complete in 2021.
Anmol joined the EVP Dental team in 2015 and has enjoyed performing all aspects of general dentistry. He has a special interest in restorative dentistry, wisdom teeth removal and dental implant treatment. Dr Saxena is also a certified Invisalign® provider and enjoys helping patients plan and achieve their desired smile makeovers.
Anmol prides himself on his gentle and caring nature and goes above and beyond to make his patient’s experience as pleasant and anxiety-free as possible. Dr Saxena is also very good with anxious patients and can recommend treatment under happy gas or IV sedation (sleep dentistry).
Anmol is happily married to his lovely wife and has two children. Outside of work, Anmol loves spending time with his family and taking his kids and dog out for walks by the river. He speaks fluent Hindi and also enjoys travelling, reading and watching cricket and the AFL.
Dr Liong Ting graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2011 with a Bachelor's of Dental Science and has done a multiple courses locally and internationally to further his dental knowledge over the years.
As someone who gets nervous going to the dentist himself, Dr. Ting is very understanding of how daunting it can be for some to visit a dentist. He makes it his mission to ensure his patients are comfortable during their dental treatments, and he aims to empower them to keep returning to the dentist.
Dr Ting provides all aspects of dental care with a keen interest in improving smiles with minimal intervention, pediatric dentistry and is a certified Invisalign® provider.
Dr Ting also speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay. Outside of dentistry, Dr Ting dabbles in photography, succulent growing, badminton and loves to travel.
Dr Guimaraes is originally from Argentina and graduated top of her class in 2008. She worked in private practice in Argentina for 5 years before moving to Australia in 2014. She completed her Australian dental council exams and started working in Perth in 2016.
Dr Guimaraes enjoys and practices all aspects of dentistry but she has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She believes in the principles of Biomimetic dentistry which is the art and science of restoring damaged teeth with restorations that mimic natural teeth in appearance, function and strength. She is fully committed to her patients to make sure their needs and worries are fully attended.
Outside of dentistry Dr Guimaraes has an interest in travelling, fitness and nutrition and enjoys the simple things in life with her family.
Dr. Chu graduated with Honors from the University of Western Australia in 2011 and enjoyed practicing in a rural Tasmanian community for two years prior to relocating back to Perth. He is a great believer in minimally invasive and preventive dentistry and seeks the best outcome for patients at all times through effective communication and the latest dental techniques and technology. Dr Chu performs all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges and restorative dental care. He prides himself on his gentle and caring nature.
Dr Chu is fluent in Mandarin and his nurse speaks Japanese. Outside of dentistry he enjoys playing soccer, and travelling with friends. Ian is happily married and he and his wife have just welcomed their first child into the world.
Dr Darren Cai completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide and has worked for several clinics across Sydney and Adelaide before moving to Perth. Dr Cai enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in rebuilding teeth to look their best while restoring their function.
Dr Cai likes to keep up to date with his professional development and works to continuously build upon his broad knowledge base. He has completed various restorative courses including an Ultimate Aesthetics in Composite Veneers, a Master Aesthetic Veneers Symposium in Melbourne and has completed a basic implantology course at the Dental Implantology Academy (DIA). He is soon to complete an endodontics workshop and become a certified Invisalign® GO provider.
In the past, Darren has participated in World Family Volunteering and Vietnam Volunteering, providing services to rural communities in need of dental care.
Darren enjoys getting to know his patients and is a firm believer in delivering dental care in a gentle, calm, and relaxing environment.
In his personal time, Darren enjoys martial arts, travelling and cooking up a storm.
Donagh began his career in Dental Technology in Dublin, Ireland. In 1984, he qualified as a Dental Technician and then moved to Australia in 1987. Donagh then qualified as a Dental Prosthetist in 1990 and has been finessing his skills and expertise in field for over 30 years.
Donagh is a highly-esteemed, reputable Prosthetist in the dental industry. He is constantly adding to his unique skillset, experience and knowledge of cosmetic and implant-supported dentures. Donagh applies an exceptional level of patient care in his work that has gained him trust and respect amongst his patients. Outside of work, Donagh loves to travel, read, watch indie movies and walk his Italian dog, Iggy.
Dr Christine Troy has more than 25 years’ experience as a Doctor. She received her Bachelor Degree in Medicine (MBBS) in Melbourne in 1994 and Post Graduate Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners FRACGP in 2010.
Dr Troy has worked exclusively in dental sedations since 2010. She provides intravenous sedation that allows patients to be able to have treatment in a safe and pain-free manner. Dr Troy monitors essential medical signs during patient procedures, including brain wave monitoring, to achieve a comfortable dental experience.
Since 2010, she has worked collaboratively with Dr Dave Norcross and his team of associate dentists. The Magic Sedations team includes Catherine (secretary and patient liaison), and Registered Nurses; Karine, Di and Kylie.
Dr Troy also has an extensive range of experience including 10 years as a VMO in an emergency department, two years in hospital anaesthesia as part of the accredited Specialist Anaesthetist Training Program with ANZCA and has completed the requirements of the Joint Consultative Committees of ANZCA/RACGP/ACRRM to work as a GP Anaesthetist. In addition, she has been a generalist GP and worked in Palliative Care. She is a current educator for the training of doctors to become GP’s at WAGPET and is a Fellowship Examiner for the RACGP.
Dr Troy’s technique allows deep sedation and pain relief tailored to each individual and dentist. She likes to work in collaboration with her patients, helping them to overcome past or present dental trauma, in the hopes of providing a pleasant and relaxed experience throughout treatment.
Ms Kenny is qualified in Dental Hygiene having completed her studies at Trinity College University in Dublin, Ireland and has been a Dental Hygienist for over five years; having practiced in Ireland and Australia. Ms Kenny’s focus in dentistry is to assist patients in preventative care and ensuring that the patient is completely comfortable and relaxed during their treatment. Ms Kenny has been with EVP Dental for over six years and is a registered member of the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Australian Dental Association.
Adeline completed the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle. She has worked in private dental practice since 2012, with a main focus on preventative dentistry and periodontal health. Adeline is passionate about providing quality comprehensive dental care in a professional, caring and safe manner. She is committed to improving her patient’s oral health and patient centered health care provision. Adeline is gentle, friendly and communicates well with patients and children. She is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, Dental Hygiene Association, Oral Health Therapist Association of Australia and is registered with the Dental Board of Australia.
Keryn graduated from Curtin University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy; being both qualified as dental hygienist and therapist. She is very passionate about preventing tooth decay, periodontal disease and educating all her patients on good oral hygiene habits. Keryn has a real passion for educating younger children on good oral health habits and often attends primary schools to give dental talks. Keryn herself suffers from dental anxiety so understands treating the whole patient rather than just their condition.
Keryn's most prized possession is her dog named Growl and if asked about him will talk your ear off! In her spare time, she can be found jet-setting over to her family in Melbourne or other very exciting places around the world. She is also a sporting fanatic, being a die-hard Richmond Tigers supporter.
Natalie graduated from Curtin University in 2007 and has been working as a Dental Hygienist since 2006. Prior to this time, Natalie worked as a Dental Assistant in the UK and Perth.
Natalie chose a career in dentistry as she enjoys working with people and helping to educate patients on their oral health. Natalie feels most rewarded when working with patients who have strong dental anxiety and helping them to overcome their fear of the dentist.
Natalie is a member of the Dental Hygienist Association of Australia and continues to further her knowledge through continued professional development courses.
When Natalie is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband two children Ava and Thomas and her extended family. She also enjoys travelling, bushwalking and keeping fit.
Sara began working as Head Nurse at our sister practice Kelmscott Dental in 2017, before being promoted to Clinical Coordinator and then Clinical Manager across our three practices.
Gaining dental experience since 2011, Sara has extensive knowledge in the fields of implant and oral surgery. She works alongside Dr David Norcross, heading up dental photography and managing all clinical needs including the coordination and management of all stock and surgical equipment.
Sara runs the clinical training and development of staff in assisting with surgical procedures, ensuring the teams operate within QIP accreditation guidelines and protocols and provides ongoing mentoring and training to staff.
Sara lectures, coordinates and assists across MIS implant training courses run by Dr David Norcross for the Dental Implantology Academy (DIA).
Out of surgery, Sara works closely with the management team to develop and implement new clinical policies and procedures. She is also the Assistant Project Manager when it comes to the group’s surgery expansions and relocations.
When Sara is not working, she enjoys living the country life with her fiancé, horse and two dogs.
Tiffanie graduated in 2015 with Certificate 3 in Dental Nursing at TAFE East Coast Queensland. Tiffanie spent six years nursing in North Queensland before making the move to Perth, WA in 2021 to pursue her career in practice management.
Tiffanie’s extensive dental knowledge complements her responsibilities as a Practice Manager, and her warm, bubbly and fun-natured approach, enables her to build rapport quickly with both staff and patients alike.
She is committed to going above and beyond to ensure every patients’ experience is enjoyable. Tiffanie works closely with Principal Dentist, Dr Dave Norcross, as well as Practice Managers from sister clinics located in Kelmscott and Mount Lawley.
Outside of work, Tiffanie enjoys hiking and exploring all that WA has to offer. She is always trying to catch the sunset at the beach with her two dogs and enjoys a sunrise swim. Tiffanie hopes to one day travel the world and experience as many cultures as possible.

Any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee of $60. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. Many of the dentists at EVP Dental have graduated from the University of Western Australia (UWA) in Perth, with some graduating interstate or overseas, before completing their Australian Dental Council exams and becoming registered dental practitioners in Australia.
All of our dentists are committed to ongoing professional development and will often pursue postgraduate programmes within a focused area of dentistry.
Our Associate dentists have an average of between 10 and 15 years’ dental experience, with the exception of our resident denture Prosthetist Donagh McDonagh, who has 37 years’ experience custom-making dentures.
Our general dentists share the same commitment to patient care and ongoing professional development, so you’ll be in good hands no matter the treatment you need.
If your treatment plan includes removable dentures, you’ll be working with resident prosthetist, Donagh.
For nervous patients, Dr Anmol Saxena can provide treatment using inhalation sedation (happy gas) at the practice. Alternatively, many of our dentists can provide treatment using sleep dentistry (IV sedation) in the chair or general anaesthesia in day surgery with the assistance of a qualified GP anaesthetist.
All of our dentists have experience treating children and many are certified Invisalign® providers and are able to provide teeth straightening treatment.
